Ingredients: 170g pearl barley 230ml milk 230ml water 2 eggs 1 tbsp melted butter Salt, pepper, nutmeg Method: Bring milk and water to the boil Wash and drain barley Add barley to water and milk. Cover and simmer until barley is soft Cool, beat in eggs and butter with salt & pepper and a pinch of nutmeg Shape into patties, roll in flour and fry in butter until browned Score: BRONZE
