Pecan pie (USA)

After much deliberation, we decided to bake a pecan pie for our USA entry. We had some great suggestions on Twitter from Sig, Su-Lin and The Sussex Review but after seeing this recipe in the new Around the World in 80 Dishes cookbook, we just had to do it.
