INGREDIENT

1 bay leaf

4 carrots


METHOD

Step # 1

Peel and chop into chunks the onion and carrots.

Step # 2

Cut the steak into four serving portions.

Step # 3

Combine the flour and salt and pepper and coat the steaks with the flour mix. Coat the bottom of an oven proof pan with a little oil and place the steaks in the bottom.

Step # 4

Mix the tomatoes, wine, carrots, onion, celery, mixed herbs, bay leaf and hot sauce in a mixing bowl and pour over the steaks.

Step # 5

Cook in the oven at 150 degrees C for 5 hours. Once cooked, discard the bay leaf and remove the steaks to serving plates.
